“Steve and his team have incredibly high standards both in terms of the quality of their craftsmanship and in the courtesy they displayed towards us. Work always began at 7:30AM and finished no earlier than 5 without exception. For the first three weeks of the project we hardly knew of the team’s presence at all as their access was through the roof rather than traipsing through the front door. We were given full warning of any potentially disruptive actions (such as cutting through the ceiling to fit the stairs) and great care was taken to minimise our inconvenience. Most impressive was the way that Steve kept us regularly informed of progress, encouraged us to view the project’s development and constantly involved us in the decision making that unfolded. This last point should not be understated as apparently small decisions on the width of doors, location of radiators etc. have major implications and Steve made us feel constantly in control of the process.”
